Biography of Tranecia Hebert

Tranecia (Trenise) was born and raised in New Orleans, LA She is a product of a Catholic education and attended St. Mary of the Angels elementary school and graduated from St. Mary’s Academy High School.

In December 1998 she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana and in May 2002 obtained a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans. She is an active member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. since 1995 and volunteers in numerous community service outreaches. She has been married to Dennis R. Hebert Jr. for 15 years and is the loving mother of 3 boys: Dennis Ray, Dylan Reed and Drake Riley.

Tranecia is currently employed by Southeastern Louisiana University as the Assistant Director and Counselor in the Student Support Services Department. She is a supporter of various organizations: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Ronald McDonald House in Houston, TX, Southeast Advocates for Family Empowerment, and the United Way. Tranecia is the Co-owner of Hebert Investment Enterprises and DRH Ministries.She is the Director of the Victorious Daughters Women’s Ministry at Beacon Light Baptist Church of Hammond and is the Founder of God’s Covergirls Women’s Conference, the DIVAS Society and the Jabez Jewels.

Tranecia’s latest accomplishment is that of an author. In 2016 she co-authored and released her first book entitled; Classy Comeback: How To Be a Lady in a Ratchet Society.

Tranecia believes and stands on her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

It’s very disturbing how our society has established a culture that praises and embraces the “ratchet,” loud and disrespectful woman, while on the other hand labeling the “classy” and reserved woman as being, boring, old fashioned, stuck up, and a goodie two shoes. Why is that? Is the era of the classy lady fading away? Is ratchetness gaining momentum and taking over? Well, not on our watch, we are raising our voices to declare that there are still classy ladies among us. We are sounding the alarm for every classy lady to come back and stand for righteousness.
